The Resident Evil 6 demo is only one day old, but the critics have already chimed in on the demo and what it tells us about the game.
Mo Mozuch of the International Digital Times states that he was initially a "skeptic" of the game but that his mind was changed while playing the demo.
"The beauty of the demos is that it plays like three demos in one," writes Mozuch. "I assume that the full version of the game will feel like three full games in one." Mozuch adds that despite starting with the Leon demo, a look into the other two campaigns opened his eyes into see just how much the game had to offer. Mozuch goes on to praise the moodiness and tension of the Leon campaign which also provided the requisite action. He adds that there is limited ammo and that Capcom has spiced things up with a stamina meter for melee moves.

Chris's campaign was pure action. The variety of enemies was impressive to him and it was "perfect contrast to the quiet, suspenseful atmosphere of the Leon demo." As for the third campaign, Mozuch adds that it was his least favorite but "in no means is an inadequate or poorly designed product." This one simply had "the least distinct feel."
AssainGuy of Gamer Syndrome was equally positive about the demo stating that "The gameplay was just epic. It will force you to scavenge ammo and grab the knife to remove their heads, because that's what you gotta do! That's the game! And I love it!" He also noted the cinematic gameplay and "epic melee combat." AssainGuy also praised the multiplayer coop mode. However, he did feel like the game had an arcade feel.
The game is slated for an October 2 release on the Xbox360 and PS3.
