Arsenal added another three points and extended their Group B lead to six points with an impressive 3-1 win over Olympiacos.

The Gunners got a goal from Gervinho as he rifled the shot from outside the box in the 42nd minute to give Arsenal a 1-0 win.

But things got complicated right before half as Kostas Mitroglou headed in a Leandro Greco cross to end the half 1-1.

But Arsenal would not be denied and in the 56th minute as Gervinho ran up the left side, went around his defender and passed it to Lukas Podolski in the middle. He rifled it through keeper Balasz Megyeri's legs to retain the lead. The lead was doubled when Aaron Ramsey ran past his defender on the left and chipped the ball into the back of the net.

Man of the Match: Gervinho

Schalke 04 blew a late lead and had to settle for a 2-2 draw with ten men Montpelier.

The French squad got off to a 1-0 win with a rocket from Karim Ait Fana in the 13th minute. But then 19 year old Julian Draxler faked out the entire Montpelier defense and walked into the box to tie up the score at 1 in the 26th minute.

Montpelier then took a 2-1 lead in the 53rd minute off a Klass-Jan Huntelaar penalty goal. Draxler was at the center of this goal also as he dribbled into the box and was taken down to set up the spot kick.

Unfortunately, Souleymaine Camara scored in the 90th minute to tie the score and take a point in the standings.
