The Champions League resumes Tuesday with Groups E, F, G, and H in action.

BATE Borisov vs. Bayern Munich 2:45 PM ET

The German squad has been the toast of the Bundesliga with 6 wins in 6 matches. Mario Mandzukic has 6 goals and the team has found a way to score at will with a +17 Goal Differential. Their first match of the UCL was a sloppy 2-1 win over Valencia that should have seen more goals from the Germans if not for the strong defense put up by the Spaniards. Now they take on BATE Borisov who won its first match 3-1 over French side Lille in an upset that vaulted them to a first place tie with Munich. They will face a tougher test from a deeper opponent that will likely control the ball at every turn.

Prediction: Munich sweeps the floor with BATE 5-0.

Valencia vs. Lille 2:45 PM ET

Valencia had the bad luck of drawing Munich In their first match but they put forth a valiant effort against the bonafide top team in the group. However, this club is worrisome as they have had a mediocre start to La Liga 2012-13 with just two wins in six matches. The four time third place team in the Spanish league will need to put together more consistent efforts if they hope to return to that same spot by year's end. Fortunately for them, Lille has been just as mediocre after a 3-1 loss to BATE Borisov in the UCL. This team has since not registed a win and is looking to fall apart after an impressive 2011-12. If Valencia plays as they did against Munich three weeks ago, then this should be a cakewalk.

Prediction: Valencia wins 2-0.
