After an eventful opening day to the Champions League, the final four groups get underway in what should be an equally exciting day. Let's take a look at Group E.

Chelsea vs. Juventus 2:45 PM

Even though Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are also playing tonight, the marquee matchup is this one between the defending champions and one of the most talented Italian teams in the world. Chelsea starts the defense of its championship with a huge challenge as Juventus is just as talented as they are.

Talent is the one thing neither of these sides lack. Chelsea has John Terry, Frank Lampard, Oscar, Lorent Malouda, Oriol Romeu, Daniel Sturridge, Juan Mata, and Fernando Torres. Juventus is stacked with Giorgio Chiellini, Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal, Leonardo Bonucci, and Fabio Quagliarelli.

Edge: Chelsea is at home, but the best player on the pitch is arguably on the other team. This is pretty even.

Prediction: 2-2 draw.

Shakhtar Donetsk vs. FC Nordsjaelland 2:45 PM

The two weaker squads in the group are happy not to have to open their tournament against the big guys. Shakhtar has the edge here due to their experience a year ago. Nordsjaelland is more than capable of making noise, but this match may be as much noise as they are allowed to make.

Edge: The Ukranian Donetsk just because of last year's experience and home field advantage.

Prediction: Shakhtar Donetsk wins 2-1.
