The UEFA Champions League continues on Wednesday with groups A, B, C, and D in action.

Arsenal vs. Olympiakos 2:45 PM ET

Arsenal has not had a good few weeks since their UCL match against Montpelier. They won 6-1 to Conventry in the Carling Cup but the 1-1 Draw to Man City and the 2-1 loss to Chelsea are likely more difficult to bear. The fact they are currently in seventh place of the Premier League with just 9 points is probably making them more miserable. Which means that this match will be a huge one for getting their morale back up. A big win here and the leadership of Group B would do a great deal to increase this team's confidence. But the Olympiakos will have more to say after a loss to Schalke 04 in the opener. They will look to avoid an 0-2 start and have the skill to do it. Look for a defensive match here.

Prediction: Arsenal is playing at home and needs the win. Desperation will lead them to a 2-0 win.

Schalke 04 vs. Montpelier 2:45 ET

The German side is off to the start they wanted after a 2-1 win over Olympiakos. But now they take on a troubled Montpelier side that is paying below expectations. Schalke is the clear favorite in this match but they must be careful with a French side that will be motivated to avoid a woeful start to their UCL campaign. This should showcase two strong defending sides going at each other.

Prediction: A 2-2 draw in this one. I think Montpelier is better than they have shown but not good enough for a win.
