As previously rumored, AT&T is launching the LG G2 on September 13, but online sales for the device start tomorrow, Friday September 6.

While Verizon might be getting the LG G2 one day ahead of AT&T, Big Red's biggest rival is going to start selling the LG G2 a week ahead of Verizon Wireless online. The actual release dates for both U.S. carriers came as no surprise, as those exact release dates were rumored about weeks earlier.

AT&T is putting the premium smartphone from LG Electronics at $199.99 with a two-year contract, according to GigaOM, or $27 per month on AT&T's Next program, which, kind of like leasing a car, lets you pay a monthly amount on your device so you can upgrade your phone every year. Verizon, meanwhile, has its own bonus for LG G2 buyers on their network - a wireless charging kit which is exclusive to the provider.

LG Electronics' newest flagship, which was unveiled at a big event in New York City just weeks ago, is launching on major carriers in the U.S. with some premium, and competitive, specs. The LG G2 features a 5.2-inch screen with 1080 x 1920p Full High Definition resolution. It is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.26GHz with a Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 13-megapixel main camera, which is in line with the Galaxy S4 and other flagship phones, and a front-facing camera as well.

The LG G2 is available with 32GB of internal storage, but unfortunately there is no microSD card slot, which means that 32GB is all you get. Another slight deficiency in the LG G2 is that it runs Android 4.2.2 instead of the latest version of the Jelly Bean operating system. However LG Electronics says its "Rear Key" - which is the volume rocker and button on the back of the smartphone, right where your finger rests when you're talking on the phone - is a unique asset that no competitors can boast.

If you're an AT&T customer, are you interested in the LG G2, or do other flagship smartphones still look better? Let us know in the comments.
