Jennifer Lawrence got her dose of reality TV on her 25th birthday when she was caught in bed with the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, Kris Jenner.
According to People, the “Hunger Games” star celebrated her birthday with friends and family in a private Hollywood home.
A source told People that Lawrence and her friends are reality TV junkies. That’s why they decided to surprise the actress with a visit from Jenner.
In an interview with The Sun last January, as quoted by Independent, Kim Kardashian recalled how Lawrence “profess[ed] her love” for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
"I was in NYC and I ran into Jennifer Lawrence. We said, 'Hi' and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing, she screamed across the lobby, 'I love your show'. We were laughing so hard," Kardashian revealed.
Independent further reported that in 2012, Lawrence disclosed to Marie Claire that reality TV was her “silver lining.”
“After it’s 11, I’m like, ‘Don’t these kids ever get tired?’ When I’m out, I think about my couch. Like, ‘It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there’s an episode of Dance Moms on. Am I missing a new episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? I’m just stressed by the idea of missing them,” she said.
Even though J-Law and Coldplay frontman Christ Martin broke up a few weeks ago after an on-and-off relationship, Lawrence had the “best time ever” during her birthday and was “laughing so hard and thought the entire night was hilarious,” a source told People.
Jenner, on the other hand, greeted J-Law on Instagram, saying, “Happy Birthday you piece of s--t... God I love you #Jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember.....even if we did get caught... I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!!”
The photo, as Entertainment Weekly put it, showed the two personalities “channeling ‘deer in the headlights’ while entangled in each other’s legs and fondling copies of Albert Camus’ 'The Plague and Joan Didion’s Play It As It Lays.”
Tavi Gevinson, who was also present at J-Law’s birthday, posted a photo of the celebration on Instagram, showing Lawrence and her friends all smiles with Jenner.
People noted that J-Law’s break-up with Martin did not slow her down. Recently, the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress went on a vacation with comedian friend Amy Schumer. Martin, on the other hand, was seen in New York City enjoying lunch with Annabelle Wallis.
