Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will no doubt be a major success for the Playstation 3.

However, unlike Nintendo's diverse list of mascots Sony's has been developed by a number of different developers over the course of two decades. For those unfamiliar with the characters, Latinos Post is providing the latest news on each character as well as in-depth report on their histories, move sets, and super attacks.

The beta version was recently launched on the PS3 and Vita for PS Plus Subscribers, enabling players to try out the game. Among the characters available in the beta were Kratos, Parappa, Fat Princess, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radek, and Sly Cooper.

Parappa the Rapper was in many ways the creator of the current music genre that showcases such titles as Rockband, Guitar Hero, and Dance Central.  After the 2002 title, the character disappeared and has never been seen since. The original game was recently released on the Playstation Network.

In the Playstation Battle Royale he can be fast but tends to be weak. Some impressions from gamers are that he is among the least potent combatants in the beta version and could use some tweaking to increase his speed and power. He is by no means a power character and relies on his speed and combos to get the most out of his game. Most of his attacks have short range.

With the square button he can punch, upper cut, shoulder thrust, and low kick. These are his weakest attacks. With the triangle Parappa showcases his skateboard and does a slap, b-boy, overhead slam, and low hit with the skateboard. These attacks are far stronger, but slower than the typical melee attacks.

With the circle he can do mic toss, spinning knuckles, boxy boy scatter, and boxy boy. The boxy boy radio spews AP bubbles which enable players to level up and prepare supers.

His first Super is Kick Punch Backflip which showcases PaRappa doing a jumping mid-air flipkick while sending an outgoing 90-degree angle wave.It has short range and is intended for one kick. The second super Skateboard Frenzy sees him runaround on the skateboard killing anyone that steps in his way. It has speed and more range, but opponents can anticipate it easily. His final Super is called "I gotta believe" and Parappa starts to rap to the song which instantly kills all enemies.

The game is slated for a November 20 release on both the PS 3 and PS Vita. Anyone who purchases the PS3 version will also receive a free download voucher for the Vita Version.
