Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will no doubt be a major success for the Playstation 3.
However, unlike Nintendo's diverse list of mascots Sony's has been developed by a number of different developers over the course of two decades. For those unfamiliar with the characters, Latinos Post will do report on latest news regarding each character and an in-depth report on their histories, their move sets, and their Super attacks.
The beta version was recently launched on the PS3 and Vita for PS Plus Subscribers, enabling players to try out the game. Among the characters available in the beta were Kratos, Parappa, Fat Princess, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radek, and Sly Cooper.
Formerly named Markus Kane, Sweet Tooth once had a happy life with a big house, great family, and a job serving ice cream to neighborhood kids. When he put on the clown mask, he went crazy and sought out destruction and chaos.
In Playstation All-Stars, he is a powerful character that has strong projectile moves. He is not the swiftest of players, but his overall game is solid.
Using the square button, players can activate his weaker close range moves that include Chop, Uppercut, Shoulder Tackle, and Stomp. With the Triangle button, Sweet Tooth employs some of his projectiles and stronger attacks including Chainsaw Lariat, Blade Throw, and two variations of Shotgun Blast. They are slower moves however than his melee attacks.
With the Circle button, he utilizes the Napalm Grenade, Fire Clap, Fire Breath, and the Mine. These are his strongest attacks, but some tend to be slower than his other moves.
His first Super Attack is TNT Tag. He straps a bomb to another player and then kicks them away. This attack can kill multiple people close to the explosion. If Sweet Tooth kicks an opponent into a wall, they will bounce back in his direction.
His second Super is Death by Missile. This attack fires a missile that the player can direct into other players for an instant kill. The missile can be blown up instantly by pressing another attack button. This attack is reminiscent of Snake's Missile Launcher from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The attack can kill multiple people that are near the radius of the explosion.
The final Super is called Rise of Mecha Tooth and Sweet Tooth turns into a robot version of his ice cream truck. He rides around and shoots from his Gatling gun arm and rockets. With the square button people can shoot the gatling gun at a 90 degree arc. The triangle button launches multiple rockets into the air to kill opponents in the air. With the circle button, the Mecha Tooth will perform a stomp attack that kills nearby opponents. It is a varied and potent attack with range and speed.
The game is slated for a November 20 release on both the PS 3 and PS Vita. Anyone who purchases the PS3 version will also receive a free download voucher for the Vita Version.
