Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will no doubt be a major success for the Playstation 3.

However, unlike Nintendo's diverse list of mascots Sony's has been developed by a number of different developers over the course of two decades.

For those unfamiliar with the characters, Latinos Post will do report on latest news regarding each character and an in-depth report on their histories, their move sets, and their Super attacks.

In a recent interview with NZGamer, game director Omar Kendall talked about the decision to include to Coles in the game. According to Kendall, initial development had room for only one Cole who would remain a hero or turn infamous depending on their actions throughout the battle. But the IP holders were adamant that the character was in fact two different people and they wanted to different guys.

In the Infamous franchise, the character of Cole goes from being a bike messenger to the savior of Empire City. However, his actions determine whether he remains a selfless hero or a disgraceful villain.

The development team accommodated and created two contrasting characters with diverse move sets.

So what is the difference in Playstation All-Stars between these two versions of Cole McGrath?

Good Cole is well-rounded and has both close and long range attacks with strong mobility. He relies primarily on electric and ice attacks and his fighting style is most effective when isolating opponents for a one on one duel. His first Super is the Kinetic Pulse in which he levitates a player, throws them down for the kill and also kills anyone else that the thrown player hits. The attack is more effective at the close range, but could have impact toward far away players. However, they can avoid the hit, limiting the move's effectiveness. With his second Super, Ionic Freeze, Cole shoots a wave of ice along the ground and takes down any player in its path. The move has some strong horizontal range and speed, but its lack of vertical range diminishes its impact. His Final Super Solves these problems however, Ionic Vortex looks like one massive tornado that Cole can guide along the stage to kill any player it touches. The move has vertical range and makes it impossible for players to jump over. The vortex does move slowly so it could have limited impact on larger stages.

According to Kendall, Evil Cole relies more on creating havoc and chaos on the playing field and is likely more effective at attacking multiple players at once. He is more powerful that his good iteration and has a plethora of long range attacks. With his first Super he also utilizes Ionic Pulse in which he grabs an opponent and heaves them. However, his Ionic Pulse takes more time to start up. His second Super is Ionic Drain in which he destroys all the surrounding opponents in the immediate area. AP points are dropped after the opponents are killed and any survivor can pick them up. His Level 3 Super enables him to absorb the power of the Beast and he will fly around and shoot down players vertically and horizontally. The move is similar to Yoshi's Final Smash from Super Smash Bros. Brawl in which he flies around and shoots down enemies with fireballs.

The game is slated for a November 20 release on both the PS 3 and PS Vita. Anyone who purchases the PS3 version will also receive a free download voucher for the Vita Version.
