The Coronel Quintana receives a letter telling him that he must leave Medellin because he will die.
At the Espectador Cano's widow is scared about the bomb that the Cartel threatened them with. Meanwhile EL Chili prepares the Coronel's death. Pablo does not care about the plan and tells him that only thing he cares about is that it is done. He tells El Topo to tell Kikko that they must kill the people in Bogota as soon as possible. The Coronel asks for a leave of absence but is denied. He tells the general that he was threatened. The general tells him to take care of himself.
Galan asks for new security because he and his wife do not feel secure. Galan is convinced by the higher security agrees to keep his current guard but his wife is not.
At school Kikko and his brother threaten Galan's son. Galan is advised to quit his presidential campaign but does not oblige. Galan continues his campaign by talking against the cartels.
The Coronel's son continues to worry and asks his father to retire and reconsider his police career.
In Medellin el Chili awaits the Coronel to explode a bomb. The Bomb explodes but El Chili realizes that he did not kill the Coronel when El Coronel drives past them. Instead they killed a Governor. Pablo is furious by the inefficiency. He tells El Chili that if he does not kill the Coronel then he will fire him.
