Back at his ranch Pablo dines with his family. Patty is upset about her son's lack of religious education and criticizes Pablo for having never taught him about religion.
In Bogota, Pablo's men are ready to kill the magistrate. The men stop the car and then take out their guns and shoot him.The government mourns the magistrate's death and protest ensues.
At the burial, Coronel Quintana's son warns him against Pablo and tells him that he is worried about him. Pablo's men deliver flowers to the Coronel as a warning.
Galan continues his campaign as El Mariachi trains a man to kill Galan.EL Chile and El Topo prepare a car with dynamite to kill EL Coronel who receives the flowers with a warning saying that his death is imminent.
