While the Motorola Moto X has won many fans for its highly customizable features, some buyers of the T-Mobile version have complained about the quality of the pictures taken with the device's camera. But now, thanks to a new Motorola update, the issue seems to have been fixed. Droid Life is reporting that T-Mobile users have begun to receive the upgrade, which has apparently noticeably improved the image quality of the Moto X's camera.

According to Motorola, this software update will improve a number of aspects of the Moto X's camera, including auto-white balance performance and color accuracy. Here's what that means: while some photos taken with the phone's camera tend to show up with a bit of a brownish tint, now the colors will really pop. This update also seeks to improve exposure in outdoor and backlit scenes, allowing active users to show off the great outdoors in more detail than ever before. Finally, the update reduces noise in low-light scenes, helping those trying to take pictures at dusk or in dark interior settings. Hopefully for Motorola's sake, this update will reduce the number of complaints about the Moto X's camera and the smartphone can continue on the successful path it has been on since it was launched.

The Moto X was launched on several different service providers such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint, however, currently only AT&T customers have access to the full range of customization options found on the Motorola website. On this website, those looking to purchase the Moto X can pick the colors of the backplate, volume buttons and even the headphone jack, and also choose spec options like the size of the internal memory and what, if any, cases they want for the device. The Motorola Moto X is currently available for $199 with a two-year commitment plan, or users can order an unlocked version of the device for $649. However, those ordering the device from anyone other than AT&T can only buy the device in black or white.

Look out for more Moto X news right here as the device begins to roll out the full color schemes for other service providers.
