According to rumors and a leaked image, Samsung is working on a dual SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which is called the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Duos.
The rumors, coming from phone Arena via inferse, show the new variant 6.3-inch Duos phablet , model number SCH-P729. The phone itself doesn't appear to have any differences from the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which was announced along with its 5.8-inch variant on April 11, 2013. Other than the dual SIM support, of course.
Up until now, the only known variant of the Samsung Galaxy Mega that had Dual SIM support came in the 5.8-inch screen version - specifically, model number GT-19152. Besides the smaller screen (if you can call a 5.8-inch smartphone display small), that Galaxy Mega had the less impressive hardware of the Mega phablets, with a 1.4GHz CPU, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and no support for LTE.
But according to inferse, rumor has it this Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 "Duos" model will have the higher tier specifications, including, of course, a 6.3-inch display with 720x1280p resolution. The phone will be powered by the more powerful 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos processor with onboard graphics, along with 1GB of RAM. The RAM specs seem a little bit off, as the 6.3-inch variants all currently come with 1.5GB, though perhaps Samsung needed to make room for the extra SIM card.
Other versions of the Galaxy Mega come with 8GB of internal storage, and it's not unreasonable to expect that, if a real thing, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 Duos would at least have that. It is also purportedly going to have a microSD card slot, for up to 64GB of extra storage. The device is rumored to run the latest version of Android Jelly Bean, 4.2.2, and sport a 8-megapixel main camera, along with a 2-megapixel front facer.
These details are all still at the level of rumor, so stay with Latinos Post as more details emerge, possibly confirming or denying previously though specs.
