After wild three days of competition, things are starting to stabilize on All-England Club following flawless performances from world's Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams on Thursday in the Wimbledon Open Championships.

The third-round of the Wimbledon Open is all set to get started on Friday morning as Olympic champions Andy Murray and former Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova look to capitalize in a tournament that already lacks starpower after early round exits suffered by Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Victoria Azarenka, and Maria Sharapova.

Murray, who hasn't dropped a single set in the tourney, will face no.32 seed Tommy Robredo of Spain on Center Court. Murray is on a seven-match winning streak dating back to his victory at AEGON International a couple of weeks ago.

Murray has a 2-2 head-to-head record with Robredo but the Briton won their last two matches in 2009. Robredo defeated Alex Bogomolov Jr. 6-2 6-2 6-4 in the first round and Nicolas Mahut 7-6 6-1 7-6 in the second round to arrange a third round showdown with last year's Wimbledon Open runner-up.

Meanwhile, Kvitova will take on Ekaterina Makarova of Russia in the third round. Kvitova, the 2011 Wimbledon Open winner, is coming off walk-out victory against Yaroslava Shvedova and is expected to play on Friday with fresher legs. Kvitova has a 2-1 head-to-head advantage over Makarova, but the Russian's lone win against the Czech came on grass in Eastbourne in 2012.

Also playing on Friday are: Great Britain's Laura Robson (vs. Mariana Duque Mariño) no.7 seed Angelique Kerber (vs. Kaia Kanepi), former Wimbledon Open finalist Marion Bartoli (vs. Camila Giorgi), Victor Troicki (vs. Russia Mikhail Youzhny), David Ferrer (vs. Roberto Bautista-Agut), and Nicolás Almagro (vs. Jerzy Janowicz).
