Arsenal received some bad news on Thursday when they learned that Bayern Munich is their next opponent in the UEFA Champions League.

The English side has not had a great start to the 2012-13 season and is in a three way tie for fifth place in the league. The team was finally able to put together two straight wins for the first time since the beginning of the season when they won 5-2 on Monday over Reading. Santi Cazorla continued to prove why he is the most valuable player on the team as he scored a hat trick and now leads the team with seven goals and four assists. Most remain unconvinced by the long term viability of Arsene Wenger's club however as their last win was against 20th place Reading and their next match will be against 18th place Wigan Athletic.

Wigan has not won it their last four matches and has only won once in the last seven. The team has one of the worst offenses in the league and with 32 goals against in 17 matches this squad is averaging close to two goals against per match. Fortunately help could be around the corner with Roger Espinoza cleared to join the team on Jan. 1, 2013.

Prediction: If Arsenal is going to compete for a top spot in this league, this is a must win. 2-0 Arsenal.
