West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion have a chance to make up ground on third place Chelsea when the two sides meet on Sunday morning.

West Bromwich currently sits in sixth place but is just three points behind Chelsea for third place in the league. The squad once sat comfortably in fourth place, but has lost three straight premier league matches to Swansea City, Stoke City, and Arsenal. Last week the team lost 2-0 to Arsenal on two penalties scored by Mikel Arteta. The team's struggles are mainly due to injuries to Goalkeeper Ben Foster (groin), midfielder Claudio Yacob (hamstring) and left-back Liam Ridgewell (ankle). Shane Long and Romelu Likaku have led the team in scoring with five goals apiece while the rest of the team has only contributed an additional 14 goals collectively. The team has a tremendous home record of six wins, no draws, and two losses.

Their opponents are the team that sacked West Brom head coach Steve Clarke back in 2010. With 22 points, West Ham United could potentially close in on West Brom with a win. The team has only won once in five matches and has only scored 21 goals in 16 matches. Their away record features just two wins, one draw, and four losses.

Prediction:West Brom probably wins this match and ends its losing streak by the score of 2-1.
