The 1D member has been subjected to an awful death hoax and has once again been branded as a terrorist on Twiter.

The fraudulent hashtag #RipZaynMalik has been trending on Twitter for an unknown reason. Hollywood Life reports that the horrible hashtag has begun trending even before April Fools Day, on March 31. The 1D member is of course, pretty much alive and well, confirms the entertainment website.

However, some Directioners seem to have believed the hoax and spread the false news, notes the International Business Times. And as if getting killed on the social networking site is not enough, Zayn also had to suffer from accusations of being a terrorist once again.

"I used to be a directioner until I found out Malik was AlQaeda #RipZaynMalik," tweeted @E_N_l_G_M_A. Another Twitter user, @JoelG4L, also accused "#RIPZaynMalik it's now proven by the FBI that Zayn is the reason the malaysian flight went missing, the enemy is down!"

Of course, none of the accusations have been proven true. The International Business Times notes that the false accusations of the 1D member being a terrorist might have something to do with him being half Pakistani Muslim.

Directioners have expressed their thoughts on the horrible death hoax that's been trending on Twitter:

bella ‏@fancyingharry  : #RipZaynMalik yeah i know it's April Fools, but this is not a funny joke at all

@kidrauhliobieb  : i know it's april fools and stuff but you took it a little too far i find no humour in this #RipZaynMalik

Dhngbr ‏@DhanaBananaa  : #RipZaynMalik? is it because of April Fools? don't yah think,it's not funny at all. Everybody should know their limitations in making jokes.

mal ‏@hemmingcoke  : #RipZaynMalik do u think this is a joke it may be April fools but don't joke about life and death it's just crossing the line

The 1D member has not been pretty active on Twitter, with the last activity on his feed dating March 22. He has reportedly quit the social networking site in 2012 due to the same terrorist hoax, says the International Business Times.
