Newly leaked photos of the next generation iPhone show that the device might be coming with an iPod Touch-like camera.

GforGames reveals photos taken from Chinese website Weibo, showing that the iPhone 6 might just have a protruding camera. The leaked photos are actually photos of photos of the upcoming device which were viewed on a monitor.

The original post claims that the photo is directly from Foxconn, one of Apple's largest suppliers in China but the claim has not yet been verified.

The first photo shows the alleged iPhone 6's back, showing off a grayish casing. A better, yet still grainy photo is presented third, showing the camera, the unfinished Apple logo and the word iPhone sprawled at the bottom part of the back which IGN notes might be of aluminum make.

Interestingly, the alleged iPhone 6 prototype photos also show that the camera of the upcoming device seems to protrude. In fact, IGN says that the placement is similar to that of the sixth-gen iPod Touch in which the camera appears to protrude from the otherwise flat surface.

GforGames remarks that the iPhone-maker will have to choose between an oddly protruding camera or a thicker iPhone 6. "There is also the theoretical possibility that Apple will sacrifice the camera's thickness but that will most likely mean losing some of its performance/quality, but we don't think this idea would have too many backers," says the outlet.

The second leaked photo reveals a diagram which shows off the alleged device having thinner side bezels and slightly reduced top and bottom bezels. The iPhone 6 has previously been rumored to be bezel-free and with fancy scratch-resistant sapphire glass replacing Gorilla glass.

Apple has not released any information regarding their next generation flagship device but Foxconn is allegedly expecting a boost in the number of orders for 2014. Specifically, the Apple supplier is reportedly looking to ship out 90 million units this year alone.
