Valentine's Day Quotes: Olympic Pickup Lines to Make Her Laugh

We're inches away from Valentine's Day and we're feeling the love fever coming in waves these days. Gifts-to-give lists and suggestions, like this one, are cropping up more relentlessly as that day nears. Then there are those cynical and I-don't-do-Valentine's-Day declarations thrown out here and there by some who don't have a date or a hand to squeeze (and receive flowers and chocolate from) yet.

And then there are those funny Olympic pickup lines.

This year's Love Day is made a bit different with the ongoing 2014 Winter Olympics in chilly Sochi. And when we combine two trending events, we get a uniquely humorous result that can help keep things from feeling like any other Valentine's Day.

Late Night show host Jimmy Fallon came up with the idea of collecting Olympics-themed pickup lines, Mashable noted. He asked his 11.5 million Twitter followers Monday to tweet their best lines in, plus the hashtag #OlympicPickupLines. To make things a bit exciting, he offered users the opportunity to appear on TV.
