Grand Theft Auto 5 has been one of the most popular games of all time, but the online portion of the game has left a lot to be desired. The mode has suffered many different bugs and glitches that have derailed the mode from reaching it's full potential, despite Rockstar's best effort to fix the glitches in the game. Now, the developer is making a peace offering for those scorned by the online mode's constant problems by offering users free in-game cash.

According to Eurogamer Rockstar is offering $500,000 in GTA$ to each and every player who has played Grand Theft Auto 5 online or will play the mode in the month of October. This influx of cash will become available for users starting during the week of Oct. 13-19.

It should be noted that the cash will be delivered in two separate chunks so that the mode's economy will not become unbalanced. The first half will be launched by the end of the third week of October, and the second half will be given to players by the end of the month.

"For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet," Rockstar said in a statement.

There are some restrictions for receiving the free gift, however. Players must have played the online portion of Grand Theft Auto 5 at some point during the month of October to qualify. Players must also have to have version 1.04 of the game, with the latest patch for the game available later in October, which will hopefully fix the disappearing car glitch that has affected the game.

Rockstar will announce the deposit of the new cash on the official Rockstar Newswire, and the cash will appear in a player's bank account automatically. Rockstar had previously planned to offer in-game cash for players to purchase as microtransactions, but has since taken the feature down until the developer ensures the online mode is functioning properly.

Look out for more updates about Grand Theft Auto 5 right here as the game continues to be a massive success for Rockstar.
