The HTC One Max is expected to be one of the hottest phablets coming out this year, and now a new photo leak reveals the device will have a Verizon Wireless release, based on the device's branding.

The new photo leak comes from a member of the Android Central forums, who snapped a photo of the HTC One Max in the wild, so to speak, making this one of the first photo leaks of the device not captured within a factory or similar setting. The HTC One Max is seen with the Verizon logo near the bottom of the screen where the HTC logo has been previously spotted.

This leak may indicate that Verizon Wireless will be one of the first service providers to offer the HTC One Max. No other leaked photos have shown the device with service provider branding. The HTC One Max is rumored to come out sometime in October, with Oct. 15 or Oct. 17 most commonly projected as release dates for the device.

This leak also confirms several of the device's features. The display for the HTC One Max is reportedly 6 inches, and below the display are BoomSound dual stereo front-facing speakers, with Verizon's logo placed in between. The HTC One Max will also include a fingerprint scanner, which has previously appeared on the HTC One Max, depending which model has been shown, and will be available on the North American version of the phablet. Finally, the person who leaked the photo indicated that the backplate for the HTC One Max will be removable so users can tinker with the device easier.

While this leak has confirmed many of the details concerning the HTC One Max (if the leak is indeed legitimate), some other details about the phablet have yet to be determined. One of the biggest question marks about the device involves its chip set. While some leaks of the specs for the device assert the HTC One Max has a quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, others indicate that the processor for the device may be a less impressive Snapdragon S4 Pro due to the high demand for the Snapdragon 800 from other smartphone manufacturers.

Other specs for the device include the display having Full HD capabilities, as well as a huge 3300 mAh battery to power the phablet.
