Ozzy is a 4-year-old crossbreed between a border collie and a kelpie. He comes from Anglesey, North Wales but now lives in Norwich with his guardian, Nick Johnson. Johnson was responsible for teaching Ozzy some dog tricks he found on the internet. As a carpenter, the 51-year old had no formal dog training experience at all.
Johnson's canine buddy was able to balance himself and cross a rope measuring 11.4 feet within 18.22 seconds. The feat earned Ozzy the title to the Fastest Crossing of a Tightrope by a Dog. According to Johnson, Ozzy's talent did not require strict and endless training sessions. In fact, he and Ozzy only practice when the mutt is in the mood - which Johnson tells reporters "after he's done all his important dog stuff, like sniffing around and meeting other dogs."
