Former President George W. Bush has taken up painting since leaving the oval office and a hacker who accessed Bush family emails has exposed his works which include nude self portraits in the bathroom, The Smoking Gun reports.
One of the self portraits is of Bush showering with his upper back facing the viewer and the other is of his toes while he is bathing. A photograph of Bush working on a painting of a church while inside a gym was also released. The images are said to be from an email that Bush sent to his sister Dorthy roughly two months ago.
Those and other pictures and personal messages were released by a hacker that goes by the name Guccifer, reports say. Guccifer hacked an online account for the purpose of releasing the information he stole from the Bush emails.
The hacker claims to have "a lot of stuff" such as emails exchanged between the family during President George W.H. Bush's hospitalization for bronchitis, family member addresses and cell phone numbers, and even a security code to enter George W. Bush's gated home.
Emails from CBS sporstscaster Jim Nantz and Fox News politcal analyst Brit Hume were also released, reports say.
The Secret Service is investigation the matter, the Houston Chronicle reports.
"We are investigating the incident," said U.S. Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie, adding "Beyond that I can't get into anything else."
But the hacker, Guccifer, seems not be concerned and says he has been under investigation by the FBI for a "long time." He claims to have hacked hundreds of accounts, reports say, and when asked about the government pursuit expected to follow the security breach he answered, "I have an old game with the fucking bastards inside, this is just another chapter in the game."
