Puerto Rican actress Adamari Lopez has stricken controversy once more by stating that singer and ex-husband Luisi Fonsi will not let her touch the embryos that could would let her have children.

Earlier this week Fonsi fired back at Lopez's claims that he was insensitive to her fight with cancer. In response to his new attacks Lopez took some time out of her book signing to clarify what Fonsi had stated.

She told reporters that Fonsi needs to read her new book "Viviendo"  before making false claims. She also asserted that everything written in the book is the truth. Finally, she added that Fonsi is forgetful because she never stated that he was uncaring during her sickness.

When reporters asked about the embryos that were frozen in order to give her a chance to  have babies, Lopez stated that she could not touch them without the permission of Fonsi. She said that she desires to be a mother and if she was able to, she would.

Fonsi however denied that and stated that when he froze the embryos, he gave up all his rights as a father so she could have children.

Lopez last stated that "Viviendo" was not written to create a controversy nor to talk about her relationship Fonsi; it was to celebrate her life and story. Fonsi and Lopez were married in 2006 and later announced their separation in 2009. The couple divorced in 2010.
