On Jan.12 film industry titan Harvey Weinstein and director Kathryn Bigelow ("Zero Dark Thirty") butt heads at the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons Los Angeles hotel .

The film mogul went up to Bigelow and in a loud voice said "I'm not the Antichrist." The reaction by Weinstein was prompted when Bigelow gave Weinstein a lukewarm hello and looked unimpressed.

The two have had a severed relationship ever since Bigelow opted to changed producers for her film. Weinstein was originally slated to produce the controversial film "Zero Dark Thirty" but the director and screenwriter Mark Boal opted for Megan Ellison at Annapurna pictures because they promised a more "hands-off" approach.

As a result Weinstein decided to produce "Seal Team Six," a less prestigious project about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. He then tried to steal Bigelow's audience and anticipation by airing it on the National Geographic channel ahead of "Thirty."

Weinstein is known for his Oscar campaigns and recently scored 16 nominations for his company from films "Silver Linings Playbook," "The Master," "Django Unchained." Additionally the last two Oscar winners "The King's Speech" and "The Artist were distributed and campaigned by him.

Kathryn Bigelow has been under scrutiny for last few weeks with the controversy over the "Zero Dark Thirty's" torture scenes. Bigelow recently wrote a letter in response to controversy and stated that she believed in freedom of art. The film is nominated for five Academy Awards and is currently in theaters nationwide.
