Congratulations are in order for action star Jeremy Renner. The "Bourne Legacy" actor is reportedly expecting a baby with an ex-girlfriend, a source told Us Weekly magazine.
Renner, 42, apparently spilled the details to actress Eva Longoria during a cigarette break at the Golden Globes earlier this week. Sources told Us Weekly that the actor said to Longoria, "I'm going to fly in when her water breaks." To which Longoria responded, "I'm so blown away."
HuffPost Entertainment reported that multiple sources have confirmed the pregnancy between the actor and his former girlfriend. According to the sources, the mom-to-be is living in the actor's Los Angeles home and is expected to give birth next month.
Another source told Us Weekly that Renner is "being ultra-secretive about it, but [his ex-girlfriend] has been going on about her life and not hiding it." The "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" actor and his baby-momma dated briefly the magazine reported.
Renner is known to keep his private life very private, especially when it comes down to rumors about his love life. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in April 2012, the actor said, "I want my person like to be personal, and it's not [expletive] true [referring to rumors that he is gay]. And I don't care if you're talking about things that are true, you're still talking about my personal life."
The action star added, "How about I go peek in your window, take what underwear you work last night, whose husband you were [expletive], and shove that in the megaphone throughout your neighborhood? How does that feel?"
Renner has yet to confirm his baby news but has spent time promoted his latest film, "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters." The film is set to be released next week.
