Barcelona will take on Malaga for the second time in three days when the teams face off at the Camp Nou in the Copa Del Rey quarter finals.

On Sunday, the two sides squared off in a 3-1 win for the Barcelona. Superstar Lionel Messi scored the first goal and assisted the latter two as he continued his tremendous play in 2013. He now has two goals and two assists in the calendar year and will likely be on for the first leg of this match. Barcelona does play Real Sociedad in a few days so the coaching staff may have to decide how to proceed with its top players. David Villa and Alexis Sanchez will look to continue where they left off last week when they each scored a brace against Cordoba in their last Copa Del Rey match.

Malaga meanwhile came off a 4-1 win in the Copa Del Rey before losing 3-1 to Barcelona. In the Elbar mach, the team got goals from Diego Rende Mario Buonanotte, Sebastian Fernandez, and Francisco Portillo. Malaga is currently in fifth place on the table with 31 points, but has lost ground to other top teams such as Rayo Vallecano, Levante, and Valencia. Young star Isco will need to step up his game the way he did in the Champions League if he wants his team to progress in this tournament.

Predictions: 4-2 Barcelona win at home.
