New Call of Duty Black Ops 2 multiplayer maps have leaked, thanks to a user on All Things Beta (Via Gamespot). The DLC, titled 'Revolution,' is folded into Activision's first phase of season pass releases and includes the following maps: Grind, Downhill, Mirage, Hydro, and Rise. Expect three subsequent map packs under the current season pass, which can be purchased for $50.

Black Ops 2 raked in $500 million in its first 24 hours post-launch alone, a $100 million increase from 2011's Modern Warfare 3.

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick boasts that "Life-to-date sales for the Call of Duty franchise have exceeded worldwide theatrical box office receipts for Harry Potter and Star Wars, the two most successful movie franchises for all time."

It's no secret that the publisher is preparing a 2013 installment for its annual franchise, but it's unclear if the new year's Call of Duty will continue the Modern Warfare storyline, or branch off into its own side story of the franchise.

"Call of Duty has become more than a product people buy, it's a brand people buy into. And every November we do more than just the launch of a game, we kick off an annual, unofficial but worldwide phenomenon called the Call of Duty Season," says CEO of Activision Publishing Eric Hirshberg.
