Where does Apple go from here? The Cupertino giant has conquered the mobile market, and has developed its own successful niche in computing, but how will Apple wow us again? The answer may be in your wrist, as Apple rumored to be working on an iWatch.

According to Tech163.com, Apple has partnered up with Intel to create an iOS watch. The supposed 'iWatch' will feature a 1.5-inch OLED screen, be Bluetooth enabled, and release within the first half of 2013. Other than that, it should run the latest version of iOS, or at least a scaled down version with features similar to the iPhone and iPad.

This is all rumor, of course, and must taken with a copious amount of salt given that it stems from one report. Still, it's fun to imagine what 2013 will bring, and since most signs point to Apple moving to a shorter 6-month production cycle, an exciting new product in the first of 2013 isn't too far-fetched. Analyst Gene Munster has also stated that wearable computing is something Apple is interested in. A Kickstarter project for an Android watch raised $10 million and received 85,000 preorders, showing that people are definitely interested in the concept.

This isn't the first 'iWatch' rumor. Earlier this year, Ciccarese Design released a concept video on YouTube highlighting a Siri wristwatch. The watch would interact with an iPhone through Bluetooth, and allows wearers to simply speak into the Siri wristwatch to activate functions on the iPhone, creating a hands-free experience. Looks like Apple might beat them to the punch.

What do you make of an Apple smart watch? How robust do you think it will be and will you be picking one up if it hits retail shelves in 2013?
