Christmas might have already passed, but since it's still the holiday season, here's some juicy holiday tech gossip for you. Word on the street is that the next Samsung flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, could be coming with an S Pen stylus and might be thicker than the Galaxy S3.

According to Korean website Enuri, via SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 will include the S Pen stylus as part of its package. The S Pen stylus has previously only been a feature of the Galaxy Note series. If this indeed true, expect S Pen-specific apps like Paper Artist to become a part of the Galaxy S4's repertoire, and for more robust S Pen apps to be developed for what will undoubtedly be one of the best-selling tech devices of 2013.

The same report also states that the Galaxy S4 will come in at 9.2 millimeters thick. While previous rumors have mostly touted the Galaxy S4 as being thinner than any current handset, a thickness of 9.2 millimeters would mean it is 0.6 millimeters thicker than the Galaxy S3 is. The S Pen could account for the additional thickness, but factor in the larger screen size, and the Galaxy S4 migt be bigger in almost every way than the Galaxy S3. Let's just hope it's lighter.

The Galaxy S4 is tipped off to come equipped with a 5-inch 1080p full HD display. Initial reports were hopeful that Samsung would utilize new flexible, unbreakable display technology, but the likelihood of that is slim. The Galaxy S4 is also said to feature an Exynos 5440 quad-core processor and a 13-megapixel camera.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S4 around April, after holding its own launch event.

None of this has been officially confirmed by Samsung, but what do you think of the Galaxy S4 coming with the S Pen? Excited? Or would you rather have a thinner smartphone?
