Last night's 12.12.12 concert was hard to ignore. An unbelievable collection of musicians who adorn the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, rising stars, and seasoned comedians came together in Madison Square Garden and raised $30 million in ticket sales, not even counting the growing pool of contributions that are streaming in.

Bruce Springsteen kicked off the show with an energetic set list, and was followed by Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, The Who, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys, who capped off the show with the city's anthem: "Empire State of Mind."

John Stewart, Billy Crystal, and Jimmy Fallon also appeared throughout the show, entertaining the crowd between musical acts. Adam Sandler gave a performance of his own, and delivered his own twist on the song Hallelujah, called "Sandy, Screw Ya."

"My family is very New York, very Brooklyn, very Rockaway, and we just want to help out as much as we can," Sandler told FUSE.

Billy Crystal adds, "My home town of Long Beach LI got creamed by the storm, and even if it was spared, I would still be here because so many people are still suffering and will suffer for years for this incredible disaster."

Late Night host Jimmy Fallon marvels at the scope of the event, nothing that "People still need support, they need our help more than ever. This is unprecedented."

The 12.12.12. concert was sponsored by Robin Hood, an organization that has provided aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy in the form of heaters, generators, hot food, and blankets. Click here to donate.
