A taco shop in Las Vegas tries to capitalize on an untoward incident by coming up with a video ad, based on an actual burglary footage.

Mashable reports that Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos in Las Vegas, Nevada was the target of burglars on Dec. 16, 2015, after the store closed for the night.

The burglars moved toward the glass door and tried to smash it using a rock. Their first approach was a failure, so they opted to enter through the other side of the building. The first guy tried to break the glass by throwing a rock, but it only bounced back.

The second guy had more luck. He smashed the glass door and eventually, they were able to get in.

Once inside the taco shop, the burglars immediately searched for goods. Aside from cash registers, the thieves rummaged for any valuables they could get.

The store decided to make the most out of the unfortunate situation by coming up with an interesting video commercial which sought aid in catching the criminals and showcased how good their tacos are.

The store manager, Greg Carlson, told Las Vegas Sun that he has a lot of experience making YouTube videos, which prompted him to convert the bad situation into a more entertaining and informative clip.

In the video, titled “Burglars Just Want Tacos,” the men star with background music added. The shop narrates that the thieves were desperate to get a taco early in the morning. According to the ad, their main goal was to satisfy their taco cravings.

The men took the register and drove off in a waiting car outside, the Telegraph noted. Although a couple of cash registers were taken, the restaurant reported that there was no cash inside.

The ad lasts close to three minutes and there are captions throughout, explaining to viewers that the burglars were only desperate to get their product. “We take full responsibility for what our tacos cause people to do. They are pretty amazing,” the ad says.

The video further urges viewers to give tips in finding the culprits, with tacos as rewards. The video also jokes about one of the burglars, who unsuccessfully threw a rock at the glass door. The video has since been viewed over two million times. Las Vegas police are currently searching for the thieves.

Tipsters are encouraged to call 702-385-5555 - LVMPD Crime Stoppers for any information related to the incident.
