The Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the highly anticipated device to initially come out by early 2016 and the latest word around is that the said flagship may be hitting China as early as March.

Word about its possible debut in China comes from China Mobile which bares that the Samsung flagship will be landing in March alongside another equally anticipated smartphone in the Huawei P9.

From the looks of it, China Mobile may be hinting that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will immediately become available. There is high anticipation that the Samsung Galaxy S7 could be brought out in the open as early as February when Samsung holds its annual “Unpacked” event on February 21, 2016.

Samsung normally holds the special event before the bigger showcase of new handsets for the year, the Mobile World Congress. And while a debut would normally include its buddy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, it seems a bit odd not to hear anything about it unless such is presumed to be automatically included.

GSM Arena adds that confirmation came out in the open at a recent event and that the device will cost about $465 based on prevailing currency rates.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Huawei P9, it seems that there are other Samsung models set to make their debut at that time. That includes the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 which should account for quite a haul of devices that Chinese consumers can look forward to consider purchasing.

With that said, the features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 now come into focus. It is a given that the next flagship has had lots of rumoured specs in tow but a recent post by the Wall Street Journal may have confirmed a lot of those features specs.

That includes the Samsung Galaxy S7 sporting a pressure-sensitive screen, armed with a USB Type C port which somehow confirms its fast charging capabilities and something that will be smaller when compared to its predecessors like the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The much talked about microSD card slot will indeed return but only for the S7 model per WSJ, meaning the S7 Edge variant may not be offering the feature that had been previously taken out.

Aside from that, the S7 will also have a Retina scanner as well as an improved camera that will reportedly perform better even in low-lit conditions.

With the announcement, such does fit in with earlier reports that the Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship will make its debut in China on March. And with that said, it is likely that the device will also debut in the United States in mid-march according to GSM Arena.
