The BlackBerry 10 will release on January 30, 2013, courtesy of Research In Motion (RIM). A launch event will coincide with its debut, where two new smartphones will be officially announced. While details are scarce, the company's official website lists three new features: BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Keyboard, and BlackBerry Balance.

Features

BlackBerry Flow streamlines navigation across the BlackBerry Hub with new gesture controls, granting access to feeds, calendar events, and notifications from anywhere on the phone.

BlackBerry Keyboard dynamically adapts to your writing style so that you can compose messages quickly and more efficiently.

BlackBerry Balance divides your work profile from casual apps and information. All work data is encrypted and password protected.

"In building Blackberry 10, we set out to create a truly unique mobile computing experience that constantly adapts to your needs," says RIM CEO Thoroson Heins in a statement. "Our team has been working tirelessly to bring our customers innovative features combined with a best in class browser, a rich application ecosystem, and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities. All of this will be integrated into a user experience - the BlackBerry Flow - that is unlike any smartphone on the market today. Thanks to our strong partnerships with global carriers and a growing ecosystem of developers, we believe our customers will have the best experience possible with BlackBerry 10. We are looking forward to getting BlackBerry 10 in the hands of our customers around the world"

Specs

RIM is still keeping the specs for its upcoming Blackberry 10 models under wraps, but GSM Arena got its hands on leaked specs for the "BlackBerry Aristo." The handset reportedly sports a 4.65-inch OLED display, with a Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core Krait processor and 2GB of RAM composing its innards. Other notable boxes that the Aristo checks off are Bluetooth 4.0 Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC functionality. A 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 8-megapixel camera on its back flesh out the device.
