Eddie Redmayne apparently is one busy actor as he once again figures in yet another project, as shown by a trailer featuring the award-winning actor.

The first clip for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was recently unleashed upon the general public and has since racked up 4 million views to date.

The trailer, which started and ended on a mysterious note, shows Redmayne as the magizoologist Newt Scamander.

"Yesterday a wizard landed in New York with a case, a case full of magical creatures and unfortunately some have escaped," a female voice can be heard intoning at the beginning of the footage.

"The film is set in New York City in the 1920s, 70 years before the events that occur in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,'" MailOnline said. "Newt is the author of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' a textbook Harry has to read while attending Hogwarts."

The said reference material is required reading for all Hogwarts students and contains information on 85 magical creatures.

"It is left to Eddie to open the case and he's seen casting his first spell, possibly in an attempt to tame an escaped beast, before the title and general release date flash up," the British publication described of the trailer.

This clip, while being a welcome development, is not the world's first look at Redmayne in character. An image of the "The Theory of Everything" star dressed up as Scamander was released as Entertainment Weekly's cover photo early November as a prelude to its November 18, 2016 show date.

"With hair fabulously tussled, he wears a smart brown tweed suit with brown boots, mustard waistcoat, white shirt and bow tie, all beneath a dashing long cerulean blue coat," MailOnline described in a previous piece.

"In one hand he holds a briefcase," the publication said, "in the other he brandishes his wand, which looks to have the light-emitting spell lumos already cast."

Apparently, Redmayne nabbing the role has got "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe, who played the bespectacled main protagonist in the film franchise, envious of the older actor's good fortune.

"Oh f*** you, Eddie, in your brilliant costume... I got jeans and a zip top for 10 years and you've got a greatcoat already?" Radcliffe joked in an interview with NME magazine.

The film marks "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling's script writing debut as the screenwriting duties for the successful franchise, which was based on the fantasy book series she penned, was handled by Steve Kloves.

"Between Fantastic Beasts, Rowling's play 'The Cursed Child' (coming to the London theater scene in January), and the imminent opening of Universal Studios' Harry Potter amusement park in Los Angeles, 2016 will expand the Harry Potter universe almost 10 years beyond the final book's publication," Vox noted.

Colin Farrell and Katherine Waterston also star in the film alongside Redmayne.
