Reports said that "No Man's Sky" was supposed to be launched October 27, 2015 - that's this year. However, due to technical problems, Hello Games decided to push the release date further to June 2016, which some have said isn't exactly a release date but an advisory of sorts that could probably be moved to a later date.

"Sources said that 'No Man's Sky' is going through technical complications," KpopStarz said. "Developer Hello Games has not confirmed the report."

"It is no surprise that the title was postponed knowing its eye-popping scale," Christian Today noted. "As stated in the game's website, the much-awaited sci-fi game features an 'infinite' (number of) galaxies."

"Infinite purportedly translates to a total of 18 quintillion worlds, which means that tons of work is being done for the title and not everything will be easy to buff up," the site added.

Even if you manage to discover one planet each second on the game, you'll probably take about 584 billion years before you're able to visit each and ever single one of those 18 quintillion worlds, KpopStarz noted.

Some gamers are probably calling on Hello Games director Sean Murray to hurry up and finish the game already. However, judging the lengthy development period of "No Man's Sky," it appears that finishing the job isn't as easy as it seems, as the company has to ensure optimum gaming experience by releasing a high-quality title.

Speaking about what the game exactly is, Murray said that it's an exploratory one that's pretty much anything goes.

"You can play as a trader, a fighter, an explorer, or kind of a mixture of all three," he explained to PC Gamer. "It's a sandbox game-there are no missions, no quests."

"In some ways it's very much in the genre of game that has become very popular on PC, particularly in Early Access," he added. "There's more of a focus for us on being a huge world, so you're not under such constant pressure, and you are able to explore, and survive for a little bit longer, but you are vulnerable and you are under threat in that world."

"No Man's Sky" will be released on PlayStation 4 next year. It still is unclear whether there will be a PC version of the title, although the E3 2015 demo was done on PC and not on PS4, allegedly due to "technical complications," KpopStarz relayed.
