The latest update of “Destiny” will become available in the second week of December 2015. The new update, referred to as 2.1.0, as well as the full patch will be released for players.

“Our current plan is to deploy the latest packages to you as soon as next week. The thing about plans is that they can change, so the exact day is up to the smart people who get to push the big red button." Bungie stated.

Bungie also teased how the “Destiny” December update will provide a number of changes for Sunbreakers, Defenders and Strikers. The game developer stated that ever since the Solar siblings of the Titans entered the dynamic combination of “Destiny” with the coming of The Taken King, they have been quite popular among players. There has already been a lot of feedback even before the first fiery clash. They are reportedly rendering some adjustments to Sunbreakers in 2.1.0, as well as Strikers and Defenders.

Furthermore, there will be a rebalancing of the different types of weapons as well as new Exotics. There will be changes to the available items in the Everversemicrotransaction store. The inventory will reportedly be refreshed, so it is recommended that players purchase the items they want as soon as possible

On Dec. 4, GameSpot wrote that Bungie will feature a thorough preview of the adjustments in development. Senior design lead Sage Merrill will provide the details. There will reportedly be stats and insights for every subclass.

The weapon tuning in Update 2.1.0 was leaked on Reddit. The information was said to have originated from lead ballpit designer Bob Bobsson. Auto Rifles will be reevaluated so that players do not merely use these to get kills. The new “musket” archetype will also be a new change in the weapon. An extensive list of Fusion Rifle nerfs was also announced. There will also be adjustments made on Shotguns, Hand Cannons and Pulse Rifles. Pulse Rifles will particularly get a 40% base damage boost.

There will be exotic weapon balancing as well, specifically on the Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn. The 2.1.0 Icebreaker will no longer have the “Backpack” advantage, but will have the new “Red Spanner” perk, which provides a free magazine refill for three straight precision hits. The refill will not consume reserves. Collecting promo codes will also give gamers the chance to have added damage to the Gjallarhorn.

More updates and details on the “Destiny” December Update 2.1.0 are expected soon.
