The Moto 360 first came into the scene at the IFA 2015 though there was originally a variant that was also reportedly available. There was no word of the Moto 360 Sport until recently when the company made an official announcement via their official company blog.
The post bares the details of availability and pricing of the Moto 360 variant, something which will initially be available for the folks over in UK and France.
The Moto 360 Sport will hit shelves in the UK and France starting December 18 first, with US folks needing to wait a bit since it is scheduled to be offered only by Jan. 7, 2016 and will be priced at $299.
With regards to other outlets who will carry it, the Moto Sport 360 will be made available via Best Buy stores by Jan. 10 as mentioned via the official Motorola blog.
With the Moto Sport 360, fitness buffs and runners no longer have to worry about having to bring their mobile device along. With the wearable, you can get the necessary information as needed for the ones who take their health and fitness activities pretty seriously.
All these are made possible with the features that the Moto 360 Sport has to offer. That includes a built-in GPS, a heart-rate monitoring and music player.
Aesthetically, the watch is made from sturdy silicone construction which means that does not absorb sweat and resists fading or staining. It even comes with ventilation channels on the side.
And of course, a wearable such as the Moto 360 Sport is nothing if you don’t have the necessary apps to make it work. It works perfectly with popular fitness apps like MapMyRun, Under Armour record, Strava, Google Fit and FitBit.
The Moto Body aids users to properly record their workout data, syncing it with the apps that will allow owners to properly monitor their exercise history when needed.
The Moto 360 Sport also comes with an Ambient Mode turned on, making time always visible with a battery that can reportedly last a whole day.
The device will reportedly come in black, white and orange color variants though there is a chance that further color variants could be out in the future according to Engadget.
For those planning to get the standard model, be advised that whatever strap color you choose could very well the one you will end up with.
The straps are not changeable meaning whatever color variant you choose is what you will end up with. Black could likely be a wise choice though that depends on how stylish and color-conscious some folks are.
