"Fallout 4" has been setting records with massive sales. However, how successful the game might seem, it still cannot escape the problems which bugs bring.

According to the report by Polygon, a new bug of unknown origin has been rampant, causing the player's vision to be blurred be it in the first or third person view. Although the environment up close seems to be normal, those in the far distance were all but blur.

The report mentioned that the so called blurry-vision bug, which is similar to the vision after getting hit in the head, has no concrete solution that would fix it. It cited that activities such as doing facial reconstructions, resting the character in bed, treating with RadAway and Stimpaks, changing attire, saving and reloading the file did not solve the problem.

However, the Polygon release highlighted that the problem might be related with Dr. Sun who is located at Diamond City.

According to the explanation by Game Rant, those players who have been infected with the blurry-vision bug cannot be healed for radiation poisoning by Dr. Sun. Although other treatments cures the radiation poisoning, it has been prevalent that the bug-infected characters going to Dr. Sun were not healed although the doctor acted as if the characters were cured.

The gaming news outlet cited that, since there are no glitches reported after visiting Dr. Sun, the only logical explanation for the said effect with Dr. Sun is that the NPC's programming does not work properly with the bug.

Polygon, on the other hand, suggested that going back to the previously saved files when the bug is not yet present is the only solution that would allow players enjoy the game again. Hence, until such time that a patch is released that would remove the bug, the news outlet advised that players should not delete their saved files.

A lot of players have been experiencing the blurry-vision bug as prevalent in the "Fallout 4" Blurred Vision bug thread in GameFAQs. Also, there is a report in the thread which cites an almost similar problem wherein the player's vision is in black and white, making it impossible to see in dark areas.

As cited by Game Rant, although being bug-ridden is no longer new for video game developer Bethesda, it can still give negative effects for the company and the game especially that the bug has caused the progress of the players go to waste.

"Fallout 4" is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
