There are a lot of great Android devices to get out there but if you want the cream of the crop, it may be best to focus on the leading brands and their main models.

Google has of course a couple out in the market with the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P.

Of the two, the Nexus 5X has been out for some time now, something that is credited to LG Electronics tab.

The Nexus 5X is a lightweight device that should be the device to get for people who want a device that proves to be a good buy carrying the simple features with some attitude. Among its striking features include a 5.2-inch display (1920x1080 pixels) while relying on a Snapdragon 808 processor for required power CNet points out.

It has a good camera for the ones who love taking photos and already comes armed with the much famed fingerprint sensor for added security, all for a relatively affordable price which starts at $379.

For the ones who want to take it up a notch, you may want to consider its brother – the Huawei Nexus 6P. While the device has been hit by stock problems, the latest reports out is that Huawei has finally addressed the issue and has ample supply to address the surprising demand for it as mentioned by Gotta Be Mobile.

It is considered one of the best high-end phones one can get to date, prices of which start at $499 for the 32 GB storage variant. It comes in a more classy aluminum chassis and a bigger 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a sane Snapdragon 810 processor for juice.

Not to be forgotten is a device that has long been around – the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The device has been out since March of this year and continues to be a reasonable buy that comes packed with powerful specs led by an Exynos octa-core processor, a 5.1-inch QHD (2560x1440 pixel) display and 3 GB of RAM.

Despite being out in the market for long, the Galaxy S6 still stands to be among the reliable phones one can get out there at least before the Samsung Galaxy S7 comes out in the open.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 retails for about $599 for the 32 GB variant as reviewed by the Android Pit.

Now if you put them all together, it makes sense to lean on the latest Nexus 5x or Nexus 6P – if viewed from a pricing standpoint and release date.

But there is that risk of possibly running into some problems and/or defects with the new devices compared to a proven device in the Samsung Galaxy S6 which has been around and continues to be hot in the market.

With the Huawei Nexus 6P packing quite a punch and something that many have been wanting, it could be wise to get that one as long as stocks are available. Oh and don’t forget, it already comes with Android 6.0 M installed.
