“Pokemon Z” and “Pokemon GO” are set to release soon. Fans were particularly interested in the star of “Pokemon Z”, a legendary pokemon named Zygarde.

Moviepilot wrote that most likely, Zygarde’s name originated from the term, “zygote,” a cell created through fertilization. The genome of a zygote has the necessary information to make a new individual, and it is the beginning of a lifecycle. Zygarde also changes into different forms, which closely points to how a zygote also develops.

Zygarde starts in its Cell form, where single cells comprise the pokemon’s body without any independent consciousness. Next, Zygarde develops into its Core form, which has a brain and gains consciousness. The third phase is 10% Form, which looks very much like a dog. Zygarde collects 10% of its body by absorbing individual cells nearby. The next stage is 50% Form, where the pokemon takes on a serpent-like form after absorbing other cells to create 50% of its body. Players will find Zygarde in 50% Form while exploring the Terminus Cave in “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y,” the previous installments, based on the same report by Moviepilot.

Finally, the legendary pokemon will attain 100% or Complete Form, making it appear much like a humanoid. At this point, Zygarde has already gathered 100% of its cells, making it an effective protector of the environment. It is said to be more powerful than the other legendary pokemonXerneas and Yveltal.

“Pokemon Z” and “Pokemon GO” are currently in development by Niantic, Inc. and The Pokemon Company.

Day Herald revealed that “Pokemon GO” will include real-world location information and use the player’s own neighborhoods during the game. Gamers can then use the familiar locations to search for Pokemon. They can also communicate with other players to battle and trade Pokemon. The company plans to make the game series an open experience. There is also a “Pokemon GO” Plus device that will help with the game without the assistance of Bluetooth or a smartphone.

Yibada wrote that more details about the two new games will be unveiled on Dec. 15, 2015, when CoroCoro magazine becomes available.

“Pokemon GO” is rumored to release on Feb. 27, 2016, although there is no official confirmation yet. At present, fans will have to wait for the game developers to provide more details and specifics. If the games do not launch in February, these will most likely become available sometime in 2016. Nintendo Direct has been very successful in keeping quiet about the games.
