There are rumors that “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” will release in March 2016 for PlayStation 4. Team Naughty Dog provided several details about the upcoming game at a Paris Games Conference presentation.

“Uncharted 4” will reportedly launch on Mar. 18, 2016, based on a Yibada report. There will be mystical powers and multiplayer option exclusive for PlayStation 4. The new game is said to be a combination of “Uncharted 2,” “Uncharted 3,” and “The Last of Us.” While on multiplayer mode, the game is said to run at 900p and 60fps. While on single player mode, the game is said to run at 1080p and 30fps. Deathmatch mode will be available in the beta version.

There will also be various mystical items, including heavy weapons, ropes, sidekicks and gear. Players can earn cash in-game to purchase different mystical items used during the game. Players may acquire five mystical items in the beta and during the official release. Three of the five items were already shown during the presentation.

The Wrath of El Dorado from “Uncharted” can be used when players are stuck between enemies. The item can harness power that can destroy several enemies. The Cintamani Stone from “Uncharted 2” will create a pulse around the player to revive him. The Spirit of Djinn from “Uncharted 3” will help port players at a short distance. The sidekicks include the sniper, which will give players a defensive advantage. Savior will provide ammo, while Hunter will control enemies and let gamers shoot them. The mystical powers will also be colored to indicate which team acquired these, Yibada wrote.

The multiplayer mode will deviate from the realism of the main campaign. Players can tap mystical totems to unlock special abilities and summon sidekicks. At the beginning of every match, players can choose from a wide array of weapons at various in-game currency prices.

Gamespot reported that the multiplayer mode of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” will involve microtransactions from the start. Robert Cogburn, lead multiplayer designer of the game, stated that players can buy several upgrades, tools and weapons. The studio also clarified that all items may be earned via in-game currency. Naughty Dog mentioned that it plans to make the new game faster and more adventurous.

“Microtransactions will be available at launch, but we’ll have no gameplay items that will be gated through microtransactions,” Cogburn said at Paris Games Week.

Cogburn added that Uncharted 4 will most likely be the last game in the “Uncharted” series, although there are rumors that a DLC will be coming after the big launch in March 2016, Venture Capital Post revealed.
