Video game developer Bungie is already preparing its "Destiny: The Taken King" November updates which will be released next week. However, besides having new items for sale, weapons as well as improvements in the Crucible lifestyle, gamers will also see a new rewarding system for helpful players.

In their weekly update, Bungie mentioned that as the holiday season nears, they are looking to reward the "sherpas" among the gamers or, as described by Game Rant, those who are teaching and guiding less-experienced players in "Destiny."

"We're planning something new to recognize and reward the Sherpas among you. We are calling it Refer-a-Friend. Maybe you have a friend who will be getting Destiny as a gift this season. Perhaps their gift-giver will even be picking it up for them at a holiday sale coming to a store near you. If you intend to show them the way to the mountaintop, we'll have new rewards aimed at recognizing your service to the Kinderguardian," Bungie mentioned in the post.

However, the video game developer did not mention any more specific detail about the program such as if it will reward only those players who help newbies or if it will reward generally helpful players regardless of who they help.

Bungie, nonetheless, emphasized that they are already giving the finishing touches to the Refer-a-Friend program and will reveal the details as soon as they finish it.

On the other hand, Game Rant speculated that the program might be included in the December update since the site mentioned that they timed it for the holiday season.

The gaming news outlet furthered that the November update might just "lay the foundation" for the program or might just give the list of rewards that will be given when it was released. Moreover, although official details of the program will be announced, the update cited that data miners will also be able to obtain and reveal the program's details.

With this new update, Bungie is looking to improve the social experience of gamers in "Destiny." Just recently, Latinos Post reported that Bungie will be strictly implementing its monitoring on cheaters and will drop the ban hammer to anyone who will be caught violating the rules even those who are mere accomplices to cheaters.

Additional updates that will come for the game is a new gear management system and the return of Iron Banner which will now feature the Clash game type.
