Blizzard Entertainment has finally released information about its newest expansion for its flagship game "World of Warcraft" at the recently concluded Bilzzcon 2015.

The new expansion will be entitled "Legion", and according to the Offical World of Warcraft website, it will deal with the beginning of another invasion of the Burning Legion to the world of Azeroth. As per usual Blizzard style, a cinematic trailer was revealed during the convention for the expansion, which sets up the story moving forward.

In the trailer, we see the king of the Human race Varian Wynn writing a letter to his son stating the troubling times ahead. The airship that Varian is riding is going towards a battle on the Broken Isles to fight the first wave of the invading Burning Legion. The ship is met by another airship, this time from the Horde faction led by the leader of the Undead, Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. The ships quickly become besieged and both Varian and Sylvanas have to fight tooth and nail to survive the Legion's advance.

"Legion" will be the sixth expansion for the popular MMORPG and will see the return of a popular character back to the main story. According to Tech Times, this character will be Illidan Stormrage, who was last seen leading his forces against the combined Alliance and Horde factions in the Burning Crusade. Although Illidan was ultimately defeated in the Burning Crusade, it seems that Illidan will now be helping the players as he will be allowing his Illidari demon hunters to enter battles.

With this story plot, Demon hunter will be the new class available to players when the game launches. The Demon hunter will be played as a melee damage per second class or as a Tank, and will have two play styles, Havoc and Vengeance. From what has been released thus far, Demon hunters will have several unique abilities that will help them in combat, including double jumps and a metamorphosis ability that will turn them into demons for a limited time.

The other classes that were available previously will also be receiving upgrades and changes to their current play style. Blizzard has stated that they will be changing things like generic abilities, as well as changing some of the lesser used class specs to make them more useful.

Currently, "Legion" is set for a summer 2016 release date. Fans will know more about the exact release date in the near future.
