The sixth season of HBO's hit TV series "Game of Thrones" won't be returning until April 2016, but leaks and speculations about the show's plot continue to circulate in cybersphere. Fans indeed are helping keep the GOT flame alive until it crackles once again next year.

One of the oft-mentioned hot topics about season 6 is Jon Snow - whether he's really dead or will be back for another round. The showrunners and director have already confirmed Snow is indeed dead. Actress Maisie Williams, who plays Snow's half-sister Arya Stark, has also declared he's dead.

"I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline! It keeps you coming back for more," she said in an interview, as noted by The Independent.

Even when confronted with actor Kit Harington's statement that the series will be "part of his lie for a while, Williams countered that the interview he gave is "fabricated" and "totally false."

However, Harington has been spotted back on set and in costume, seemingly shooting a scene for the show

"The Lord Commander of the Night's Watch could be seen in several images talking to crew members while dressed in leather armor and a sword by his side," Tech Times said. "What's interesting about these images is the fact that his hairstyle looks quite different from usual."

"Instead of having that regular long curly hair slightly resting on his shoulders, Harington's hair is caught up," the site continued. "It's difficult to tell what is going on, but technically, Jon Snow might still be dead. What we see here in these images are probably flashback scenes because from earlier reports, we know that there will be a few flashback scenes for the first time on the show."

Further, there also are speculations over whether Stannis Baratheon is really dead. One factor that may have given rise to this is the fact that it is unclear what fate Baratheon suffered after his last scene, although it was implied he had met his end.

Also, GOT author George R.R. Martin added fuel to the rumors by saying that Baratheon is still alive in the books.

However, HBO has since confirmed that Baratheon was indeed killed, according to Vanity Fair.

We'll find out whether these speculations are spot on when season 6 airs next year.

Let's hear your own GOT theories and commentaries!
