The new update of the “Mortal Kombat X” DLC Pack 2 is rumored to include a number of iconic characters. Gamers will be excited to learn that some of their favorite classic fighters will resurface soon.

Yibada revealed that talks are circulating that the “Mortal Kombat X” DLC Pack 2 may feature characters Baraka, Smoke, Drahim and Havik.

“Mortal Kombat X” co-creator Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios teased on Twitter that there will be a number of potential new fighters that will be part of the latest DLC. Boon’s statement also suggested that the two characters will be included in the “Mortal Kombat X” comic book series, which will release in the near future.

Game Spot stated that there are also rumors that two of the four characters in the DLC pack will be Drahim and Havik. The rumors further spread after Boon featured the photos of the two characters in a tweet. Drahim and Havik previously appeared in “Mortal Kombat: Armageddon” which became available in 2006.

PlayStation Universe reported that gamers will also be delighted to learn that several guest characters will be playable. The newly enabled characters include Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Baraka, Smoke, The Joker, Sektor, Elvira, Rorschach, Ash William, Indiana Jones, Marcus Fenix, Neo, Alien and Spawn. Silhouettes were provided to tease players on the coming characters, with one unknown image looking much like Marvel’s Wolverine.

PSU also described some of the speculated characters. Smoke and Baraka are among the classic fighters in the game franchise, featuring their own set of unique skills and special abilities. Spawn is a Todd McFarlane creation and deemed an icon in comic books with a movie under his belt. Alien is a xenomorph from the popular film franchise. Bo Rai Cho, Fujin and Sindel are also expected to make an appearance in “Mortal Kombat X” soon. Bo Rai Cho is a drunken martial arts expert who debuted in “Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.”

The official list is yet to be announced by Warner Bros. New skins and environments are also expected to come out in the new DLC. The content is expected to release in the first half of 2016. The price is not yet known at the moment. The first “Mortal Kombat X” Kombat Pack was available at $30 and included four fighters, namely, Predator, Tremor, Jason Voorhess and Tanya.
