Brand new rumors have emerged about the plot and timeline of the "Wonder Woman" movie starring Gal Gadot. According to JoBlo, the story of the stand alone movie takes place a few months before the events that fans will see in the upcoming "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice."

This reinforced previous rumors claiming that "Wonder Woman" will take place in two periods -- the first half during World War 1 and the second half during the modern day, as previously reported by Umberto Gonzalez, Editor and Chief of Heroic Hollywood, citing production insiders. However, this further negates another rumor from Bleeding Cool stating that "Wonder Woman" will take place during World War II.

Moreover, JoBlo reported that Batman will be appearing in "Wonder Woman" during a scene when she fights villain Ares's winged demonic minions. JoBlo is guessing that this particular scene will have Batman observing Wonder Woman from afar. At the end of the film, Batman will have his presence known to Wonder Woman. He will establish a connection at this point that will unfold how she gets embroiled in the lives of both Batman and Superman in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" which bows in theaters on March 25, 2016. JoBlo is guessing that Ben Affleck will be very much interested in appearing in the said cameo since he agreed to do the same in "Suicide Squad." JoBlo also noted that this information means that "Wonder Woman" will serve as a smooth transition to "Justice League: Part One."

"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder hinted about "Wonder Woman's" plot as being interwoven to his film and the coming "Justice League: Part One" even "Justice League: Part 2." In an interview with Total Film, seen by ComicBook, Snyder said Wonder Woman "is able to bring her story as the tease of more to come." Affleck even chimed in saying: "I think once you've seen this movie, you'll realize why they immediately wanted to go and make her own standalone movie, because [Gal]'s just incredible."

"Wonder Woman" will be directed by Patty Jenkins and will also have Chris Pine alongside Gadot in the casting. It starts filming in U.K. in November. Once production wraps up, Gadot will then start filming the two-part "Justice League" film. "Wonder Woman" will bow in theaters on June 23, 2017. Justice League Part One will head in theaters on Nov. 12, 2017 and par two on June 14, 2019.
