Roughly two months ago, a lot has been revealed about Crystal Dynamics' upcoming title "Rise of the Tomb Raider."

Besides the promise of a bigger game with better gameplay and improved graphics than its predecessor, the game also treated fans with a peek about its actual game mechanics when a stealth gameplay was released. Not to mention the Gameplay details already revealed during the Gamescon 2015 last August.

However, to tease more about the game, a new video uploaded by IGN shows the first 27 minutes of the game that highlights its solid graphics, extended view of the area, and action mechanics.

The video started with the titular Tomb Raider Lara Croft traversing the snowy mountains. Although the scene does not show actual tomb raiding scenes as well as ruins. However, it emphasizes the breathtaking gameplay and trigger-based action sequences that were improved with the game's visuals.

Following the mountain climbing clip is a flashback where Lara Croft was seen in the rain-drenched streets of London as she return to her former home. The scene features a voice over of his father warning her about the dangers of a group called "Trinity" who were responsible for covering the events that happened in Yamatai in the previous game.

Additionally, Lara Crofts visit to her home also unveils some clues regarding reincarnation and immortality which will be the central focus of the game's story.

After which, an extended version of what was shown in Gamescon 2015 was revealed wherein Lara Croft is shown journeying in the ruins called "The Prophet's Tomb" located in Syria.

According to a report by Game Rant, Crystal Dynamics is establishing the character of Lara Croft aside the usual Tomb Raiding adventures that fans are used to seeing.

The gaming news outlet mentioned that developing the character of Lara Croft is an important aspect of Crystal Dynamics' plan of releasing three large expansions for "Rise of the Tomb Raider." Not to mention the fact that the video game developer foresees the game as a Triple-A title that can be the foundation of future games under the franchise.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix and Microsoft studios.

The game will be released this coming November 10, 2015 but will be time-exclusive for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. The PC version of the game will be available in early 2016 while the PlayStation 4 version will hit the market during the Holiday Period in 2016.
