Fans of the popular singing competition "X-Factor UK" got a little treat during a commercial break when Adele released a tiny snippet of what is said to be a track off of her highly anticipated album "25."

As rumor has it in between a flurry of regularly scheduled commercials, programming suddenly went black before Adele's distinct soulful voice can be heard while the words she is singing appear on the screen.

Her voice is sultry and soft over a delicate piano melody in the 29-second clip that has now erupted over the Twitterverse.

"Hello / it's me," she sings. "I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet / to go over everything / They say that time's supposed to heal you / But I ain't done much healing."

The "Someone Like You" chanteuse sings just a few bars of heart-wrenching lyrics, but it already has the internet feeling so many types of ways.

@emmieshouse "Wait that clip of the new Adele that I just heard on ‪@Beats1 has me in tears and it was only like 5 seconds

@lostgods "Adele has that kind of music that makes you miss that person you made eye contact with on public transportation 7 years ago"

@Alexandergold "I've listened to the snippet of Adele's new single more than I've listened to any ex's voicemails post-breakup."

@suite_tea "What is the release date for Adele's new album? I need to put this bereavement leave in early so there are no issues later."

"25" is expected to drop in November. Retailers are anticipating a Nov. 20 release, however there is still no direct word from her management on an exact date.

Adele's last album "21" was released in 2011 to raving reviews. Adele's sophomore album earned her six Grammys, two BRIT awards, and three American Music Awards. The LP was also certified as 16-times platinum in the UK and the fourth best-selling record in the UK of all time. To boot, "21" is certified as Diamond status in the U.S.

Judging by the madness created by the 30-second snippet, "25" may do the same. The delay in the release is due to the UK native devoting much of her time to her son in the midst of creating her record. Hopefully Adele will be kind enough to drop a few more gems before the suspected release of "25" on Nov. 20.
